The commercial availability of purchase parts and the manufacturability are given extra consideration to achieve a cost-effective design with the best lead times. Load cases are defined for structural analysis and other necessary theoretical substantiation is acquired to ensure a safe and functional system.

Production drawings

At TME we can provide you with a complete set of drawings that detail the manufacturing and assembly process.

Production engineers translate design drawings into 2D component drawings, assembly drawings and bills of materials. All details relevant for the manufacturing and assembly process are specified.

Our affiliation with our sister metalworking company www.tosec.nl has routinized us in incorporating the most practical and economical production techniques into our designs.

Structural analysis

TME guarantees a safe and functional solution and will make sure that all design decisions are substantiated with well-defined load cases and analysis by means of hand calculations and / or FEM simulations.

Dynamics

We can build your heave compensated, or other actively controlled, machinery. TME is skilled in dynamic calculations. Accelerations, rotations, impacts and other complex dynamics are accurately modelled to gain insight in the necessary strength of various parts, for an optimal design.

Installation & testplans

To support safe and efficient operations during testing and installation, legible and pragmatic installation and test plans are composed detailing working sequences and installation appliances.

Failure mode & effects analysis

To eliminate unnecessary risks and to ensure a reliable solution, we offer systemised review rapports of a design and its components. Possible failure modes and risks are identified and addressed at an early stage.
