Heavy Duty Belt Conveyors
TME was challenged to solve a logistical restriction for distributing coal for OBA, a dry bulk terminal located in Amsterdam. To relocate coal on the terrain more efficiently, TME designed, fabricated and assembled three heavy-duty beltconveyors with capacities up to 3000 tonnes /hour.
OBA specializes in transshipment and storage of dry bulk commodities. The largest bulk carriers from all over the world moor along their quay.
The solution delivered by TME comprises three large belt conveyors capable of conveying 3000 tonnes of coal per hour, crossing the main access route of the terminal and reaching heights up to 16 meters. A transferable belt conveyor directs the commodities to three different destinations on the terrain. To ensure a safe and metal free output, ferrous materials are separated by means of a magnetic separator.
On-site, our VCA certified service technicians assembled the installation within a very limited time-frame to ensure minimum downtime.
